Stephen J. Brown is an associate with the Firm and his practice is focused on corporate law, civil and commercial litigation, estate and trust and not for profit matters. Stephen has handled complex banking, corporate, commercial, contract, employment, intellectual property, and reinsurance matters pending in state and federal courts and agencies. He also has extensive experience negotiating and drafting transactional agreements including confidentiality, supply, development, consultant, employment and license agreements for clients.

Stephen represents a variety of corporations and individual clients on corporate and business matters as well as matters pending before federal and state trial courts and agencies, including the EEOC, NYSDHR, CHRO, EPA, NYDEC, OSHA and FAA.

Prior to joining Veneruso, Curto, Schwartz & Curto, LLP, Stephen practiced at the law firm of Griffin, Coogan & Veneruso, P.C. Stephen also worked as a litigation associate at a large New York based law firm in Hartford, Connecticut upon graduation from law school.

Stephen interned in the Chambers of Jonathan Nash, Queen’s Bench Division, Gray’s Inn, London, U.K., as well as for the New York Supreme Court, 2nd Department.

Prior to his legal career, Stephen worked for Deloitte & Touché, LLP as an actuarial risk management consultant.
