Mr. Blanchard has been a practicing attorney since 2004 and has an extensive background in the areas of land-use entitlement approval, municipal law, Industrial Development Agencies, and real-estate. Prior to launching his own firm, Mr. Blanchard has served as Corporation Counsel to the cities of Yonkers, Peekskill and New Rochelle. Mr. Blanchard also served as the attorney to the Town of York Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Blanchard also served as Senior Counsel to the firm of Harris Beach PLLC, within its Municipal Law and Public Finance practice groups. In 2015 Mr. Blanchard co-founded the boutique law firm, Blanchard and Wilson, located in White Plains and specializing in land use, project development, real estate transactions and environmental issues.
Before his law career, Mr. Blanchard was a high school teacher and taught English for four years at Rice High School in Manhattan
